Distillery
The core of Thornæs Distillery is Danish Single Malt whisky based on organic barley and the very special water that characterizes the groundwater around Grib Forest in North Zealand. In addition to whisky production, we also produce other spirits such as gin and schnapps, both of which are shaped by the experimental and quality-seeking workflow which is quintessential to small batch distillation.

In the Far kitchen, our Argentine chef and grill master offers a range of menus that can be ordered for events. On the menu, you'll find everything from delicious grilled dishes and finger food to three-course knife-and-fork servings.
All with a focus on local ingredients from producers close to the distillery, as well as meat, fish, and game that have been raised, caught, or hunted in the area around the farm.
