Payment
Purchase transaction is only processed when you as the buyer have accepted
payment terms and received confirmation that the payment is completed. The confirmation consists of a digital order confirmation, which shows details of your purchase. You will receive an additional electronic confirmation when the item has been shipped and shipped from our warehouse. Payment is made by Stripe. Stripe encrypts all payment information using state-of-the-art technology. The feature guarantees that no outsider can read the transaction, including card information and other personally identifiable information. The following cards and payment services are accepted:

Delivery
Thornæs Distillery uses a number of the country's leading carriers, including
PostNord, GLS and UPS. We pack and ship your goods from stock max. three
working days from the order are registered in our system, however, usually from day to day. Final delivery is guaranteed by the shipping company in question. Delivery information in connection with purchases is indicative.
Thornæs Distillery can not be held responsible for delays due to conditions at the carrier, e.g. breakdown of service, weather or otherwise. If the item is considered lost in connection with transport, Thornæs Destilleri will of course replace the item in question
and cover a new shipment.

Complaint
Thornæs Distillery follows the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act for errors and defects that are discovered in connection with the use and consumption of the product. Damages due to incorrect treatment, wear and tear and / or poor maintenance are exempt from the buyer's right of complaint. Complaints
must be notified to Thornæs Distillery within a reasonable time after the error or defect has been established or should have been discovered. All complaints within two months of receiving the product are considered timely. Thornæs Distillery holds return freight in connection with complaints to the extent deemed reasonable.
Note that deposits may occur and the liquid may appear foggy, in Single Malt
Whiskey. The conditions typically occur when the whiskey is bottled directly from the barrel
and / or is not cold filtered. This is a normal feature of this type of product.

Right of return
According to the Consumer Contracts Act, there is no right of return for alcoholic beverages. In special
cases, however, we would like to allow returns up to 14 days after receipt of the item.
Returned items must appear unused with intact packaging and in salable condition.
Return shipping is borne by the buyer. Once the item has been received and checked in our warehouse,
the purchase price will be refunded to your account within a few days. Call us and find out more if you want to return purchased goods.
Non-alcoholic goods, including glass, clothing, etc., are covered by the Consumer Contracts Act's provisions on a 14-day right of return.
Return must be made to the distillery's address. Returned goods sent by cash on delivery are not accepted.
