Thornæs Danish Whisky, Single Malt - 2nd Release

With Thornæs Danish Whisky- 2nd Release, we approach the more classic repertoire with an emphasis on Bourbon-aged whisky, although this time we have chosen to give the dram a little more scope by combining it with sherry-matured whisky. The marriage gives a recognizable taste of toffee and vanilla combined with notes of dark fruit, raisins and nuts.

2nd Release has been exclusively in 50 and 55 liter casks, which gives a slightly higher extraction of flavor and aroma substances from the cask.

2nd Release is the second release in our Uncharted Series, which marks our very first considerations around the choice of wooden casks and distillation technique. Each release follows in the footsteps of these choices and reveals how ideas are shaped and become concrete products with their very own distinctive character.

All bottles are numbered. Hardboard box with window and magnetic closure included.
