Thornæs Danish Single Malt Whisky - 3rd Release is our first offering of a smoked whisky, and even something as rare as a Danish whisky matured in new Bulgarian oak.

The special Eastern European touch ensures the whisky has a distinctly spicy character, leaning towards the floral. After 2 1/2 years of maturation in small 50 liter barrels, the whisky is decanted into 200 liter Bourbon barrels for additional sweetness and oxidation.

First impressions in aroma and taste point towards dark caramel and floral honey, while in the long aftertaste you will discover more spicy touches from the fresh oak and not least a pleasant finish of peat smoke.

All bottles are numbered.
